I was co-owning a different site with someone, but it was hard to keep contact with her. I really preferred to work on a site independantly and Baby Socks was becoming a hassle. I finally decided to move to my own site. So, while I was in a chat with someone, I got to the subject and started brainstorming names. I was pairing all of them together until I found something I really liked. Candy Splash was just too cute! I made a thread on PBF Spam Section just to make sure that it wasn't taken, and I found out it wasn't! I was so happy, that I decided to make the geocities site as soon as I could. =) That's how CS started, it's pretty much the same start as a lot of other sites. ^__^
Candy Splash was opened at exactly 2:43:52 PM GMT Time on December 25, 2005.
The reason I choose the name Candy Splash was because it just appealed to me so much! It's so unique from the regular doll site names. Whenever I think about Candy Splash, a dream land where there's no limit to candy (everythings pixeled too =O) is what comes to my mind. That's why Candy Splash is the name I choose over all else. ^_^
The reason why I want people to vote for me is soley the purpose of confidence. I don't want to lie, I like getting voted for. ^___^ It would mean a lot to me if people voted because if would reassure me that people actually like coming to my site. It would make me fell like I have a greater purpose for making Candy Splash.
